The title pretty much says it all.

According to an email sent to Celeb Poker affiliates, Celeb will be subsumed by Titan Poker on (or about) August 27th, 2012.

From the email:

As you may have heard, the iPoker Network is splitting its player pool starting September 1st. In order to ensure that your player activity will not be negatively affected by this change, we have decided to merge with Titan Poker, the largest poker room on the network.

All CelebPoker players will automatically be migrated to Titan Poker, where they will enjoy the best offers, software, support, promotions and poker experience possible.

We kindly ask that you remove any CelebPoker banners or other marketing materials from your site(s) before August 27th, 2012.

Haven’t heard about the coming iPoker split? Info from PokerFuse:

The iPoker Network has changed its network policy that will result in dividing players into separate player pools. iPoker currently boasts the largest online poker network and a player pool second only to that of PokerStars. […]

It is understood that there will be two “tiers,” with lower tier poker skins operating with one pool of players, and top tier rooms having additional exclusive tables. To be considered top tier, the room must meet a set of monthly targets in terms of active players, new player acquisitions and a “scoring metric” that takes into account player balances.
