There are headlines, and then there are headlines.
We’re dealing with one of the latter here. Via Colby Itkowitz of the Washington Post:
The Congressperson in question: Rep. Brad Ashford (D-Neb.), who became the 14th co-sponsor of the Sheldon Adelson-backed Restoration of America’s Wire Act (RAWA) on the same day that Ashford was grazed by Miriam Adelson’s falling purse in the House gallery.
“I wish I’d opened the purse,” Ashford joked to the Omaha World-Herald. “Do you think she carries cash?”
