Party Poker NJ to Run Second ‘Restore the Shore’ Tournament this Weekend

The second in the series of Hometown Heroes’ Restore the Shore online poker tournaments being hosted by Party Poker NJ is set to get underway this weekend.

The tournament series is designed to aid towns still working to recover from Superstorm Sandy .

The event to benefit Toms River/Ortley Beach will begin at 7 pm local time on Saturday, February 1.

How to enter

Players wishing to enter must, of course, be physically located in the state of New Jersey.

To get involved, simply visit the PartyPoker lobby and navigate to the tournaments tab.

As in the previous installment, Saturday’s buyin will be $20, $10 of which will be donated to Hometown Heroes, a nonprofit established to help Garden State communities and residents still struggling in the aftermath of Sandy. The other $10 will go into the prize pool.

Additionally, Party Poker will be matching $10 player donations, with those funds also benefitting Hometown Heroes.

Four tournaments remain after this week

Party Poker plans on running six total ‘Restore the Shore’ tournaments.

The schedule for the four events remaining after this Saturday is as follows:

  • March 1, 2014 – Brick
  • April 5, 2014 – Union Beach
  • May 3, 2014 – Ocean Gate
  • June 7, 2014 – Lavallette
