International Gaming Awards Accuses Critic of Tax Evasion

Today’s Twitter meltdown is brought to you by @GamingAwards, the Twitter account for the International Gaming Awards.

A quick bit of backstory: in February of 2013, John Mehaffey authored a detailed article identifying numerous examples of plagiarism by the iGaming Post (the media arm of the IGA).

After some back-and-forth, offending articles were largely edited or removed. Everyone moved on to other stories.

But then over the weekend came this:

While @GamingAwards clearly takes a churlish pleasure in including the official IRS handle in its tweets, they might have wanted to give the profile page for that account a closer look:
